Im Romer in Mayen

In the morning of the Lockdown we ordered food for 7 p.m. - it was delivered to us at 7 p.m. sharp! We had goose, schnitzel and brawn. And every dish was so incredibly delicious! The goose was lovely and tender, the fried potatoes buttery like Grandma used to do and the brawn melted on your tongue. The schnitzel is just as it should be! We will definitely order again and are already looking forward to trying the other dishes. Thank you!

Who wants to get to know Mayen MUST go out to eat in the Roman Fresh, regional, seasonal dishes, at fair prices. Menu not overloaded and something for everyone. My tip - wild boar ragout with dumplings and red cabbage. Family atmosphere with oak furniture and tiled stove. Here you can also hear Mayener Platt. The landlord, landlady and cook are warm, cosmopolitan and, depending on the situation, sit down at the table and exude warmth. I will definitely be back!

Very friendly service, food was OK, Eifel platter, pork steak, meatloaf, fried potatoes and beans. The pork was a bit dry but the meatloaf was very good!

We ended up there by coincidence. Really nice and typical German restaurant. Nice and friendly staff. The food was off course typical German, it tasted really well and the price of the food is good! I would definitely recommend this place!
